Op de eerste verjaardag van de bevrijding van Eindhoven, werd op de hoek Adolf van Cortenbachstraat en Godschalk Rozenmondstraat [toen een pleintje] een boom geplant door de Iris buurt vereniging, ook ging een fles met namen van de buurt de grond in.
Staat die boom er nog?

In 1974 heb ik een aantal maanden aan de Godschalk Rosemondtstraat gewoond (zijstraat van de Voorterweg). Vorig jaar was ik in Eindhoven op zoek naar deze straat. Weg was ie! De straat bestaat niet meer. Waarschijnlijk zijn de toenmalige woningen (en wasserij de Zwaan) gesloopt en is er nieuwbouw gepleegd. Overigens: lag deze straat in Stratum?
