Uiterst rechts op de foto staan nog de laatste oude huizen aan de Boschdijk. Goede woningen, maar de slopershamer was onverbiddelijk. En natuurlijk het winkeltje in fop- en feestartikelen, waar ik af en toe kwam om vrienden een leuke verrassing te bezorgen. Al met al leidde het ertoe dat de Kabelstraat er jarenlang een beetje verloren bij lag. Vrienden van mij woonden er in elk geval wel lekker rustig. Nu is het onderdeel van de 'feministen'buurt.
